Sioux Falls to Host Four NCAA Championships From 2023-2026
The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) announced host cities for their 2023-2026 Division I and Division II Championships on Wednesday. Sioux Falls has been selected to host the following NCAA Championship events during that span:
2024 Division I Men’s Ice Hockey Regional – Denny Sanford PREMIER Center
2024 Division II Women’s Volleyball Championship – Sanford Pentagon
2026 Division I Men’s Ice Hockey Regional – Denny Sanford PREMIER Center
2026 DII Wrestling Championship – Denny Sanford PREMIER Center
The Sioux Falls Sports Authority submitted bids to the NCAA earlier this year and will host the awarded championship events in collaboration with the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (volleyball, wrestling) and the University of Nebraska Omaha (hockey). The bidding process began last August, and final submissions were due to the NCAA in early February.
